MeyanDR is the solo project of Brussels drummer and producer Jan Heirman. Working through breakbeats, orchestral sweeps, Iranian classical music and childhood cartoons, he fuses his influences into something unsettled and new. It sounds like watching a futuristic movie on a worn-out VHS tape.

Okkupeerder is a Ghent-based hip-hop collective built around drummer Jan Heirman. Four musicians and two lyricists bring a fierce mix of rap, slam poetry, hip-hop and jazz. No golden chains or scantily clad dancers but sharp rhymes and top-tier instrumental performances. Their debut EP Kaap de Goede Hoop was followed by Ergens Onderweg, whose single In de Mix landed on Radio 1. A music video was released for the single 360°.
